Alot of people really like these amps over on caraudioforum.... Anyone heard of them. Supposedly they are the same as focal...

a LOT of people over at CA.com dont ghave any clue what a quality product is. I dont have any info on this amp other than i know its not popular in the SQ world. Looks like a focal amp wannabe. I highly doubt the build quality is anywhere close to it though. I have doubts of it actually provided its rated power.

 

It seems like there is alot of inside advertising going on over there... thats why i post over here too. I'm considering cadence,audison,kicker,arc,alpine.... Im not looking for the BEST, just good clean power. I want to be at around 1000rms for <$400. Any recommendations?

 

look for a used pdx 1.1000. Cant go wrong with alpine.

 

I put PowerBass in the same category as Maxxonics products. Theyre decent bang for the buck, but definately not something you would find in a Sound Q car...

 

Any other recommendations? I'm leaning toward the cadence 1000w amp. On sale for $200 at woofersetc.... I like the pdx, i just want to buy new and thats def not in the price range.

 

you need to remember that you get what you pay for. A pdx is under-rated. They are rated for 1000RMS but really pump out a good 1200RMS. The less you spend on the amp that is "rated" the same power, the higher the chance you wont get that amount of power.

 

I've heard really good things abou the cadence.... Even my local shop reccomends them (and they dont sell them). I just cant afford the pdx plain and simple. I need to find 1000w as cheap as possible...

 

Hifonics BXi-1206 Might put out 1000wrms If you have a solid charging system...Once again, not the cleanest power around, but what do you expect when you get 1000w for $200..the 1606 will put out around 1200-1300 and is only a fraction more...

 

my friends has dual power bass and an amp from them and its amazing.

im not shure compared to alpines though.
