Hmm I'll check to tonight I'll pull it all apart. I hope if anything it's the deck. But like I have noticed weird sounds out the door speakers but im pretty sure it was the update on my iPod that messed my music up.

try checking ohms on your subs. disconnect the wires from the amp and check the right and left subs separately. If they are dual 4 ohm subs, they should each read around 1.7-2 ohms.

if they are reading something crazy like 0 or high like 12-30 or something like that, the sub is toasted.

if you can. borrow someone else's amp, hook it up and see if they still do it.

If still happens, your radio could be toasted.

Alright I tried the subs with everything off and using the side terminals on the box they were measuring
2.2-3.4 varying in that region

Now I did the terminals on the amp and I can read the 1 channel but the other one will read then disappear then come back and it keeps doing that now what?

Well I took it to an audio shop that my friend works at and they checked it and everything checked out good. I just dont know why they would float when you pause the music but the subs still sound good and everything oh well

Thanks for all the help I appreciate it.

i couldn't tell you without it in front of me. but, a dual 4 ohm sub wired down to 2 should read anywhere from 1.5-2.5 ohms and be in normal operating range.

the floating could be caused from a leak in your box or the box is flexing so much that after the note hits, the box is returning to original shape and pushing the subs out a little bit

You know what your proly so right I didn't even think of that because last time they broke the box they were in, now it's proly slowly doing the same thing.

Thanks guys, looks like I'll have to make a box instead of buying one cause they don't hold up.

if you want. i can design you a box for free. all i need to know is your maximum dimensions, ported or sealed, and then what kind of subs you're using. I design and build sub boxes for my company so it would only take me another hour or so to do so and will happily do it for a blazer owner
