Default help me decide

I have to choose between 2 head units soon.... Which one of these would be better??

or
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Y2uv3Oo...p;I=130DEHP390

These seem to be the best 2 in my price range. I will be hooking up 2 12" subs.. probably kicker CVR's..... eventually...lol So i really need to know which one would be best... Hillbilly, im sure you have dealt with both of these brands, let me know what ya think.. I have a pioneer in my silverado and have no problems with it, so im leaning more towards the pioneer... but im not above buying the sony...

now for sake of discussion, lets say that both of those radios are made by the same company, The Pioneer would be the acura TL and the sony would be the 1987 honda accord

Seriously. If there was a sticky here on what brands not to buy, Sony would be at the top.

i definatley agree that you should buy the pioneer. I have installed probably 20 or 25 of that unit into customers cars and have been thoroughly impressed by the clarity of the amp. there are also a few new features to that model from last years DEH-P3800MP

so....change of plans.... maybe.......... I went to the car stereo shop to get my head unit... I know the owner pretty well. He also happens to be the local kicker dealer.... I mentioned CVR 12's to him and he said he could hook me up..... He has 2 Kicker CVR 12's in a custom built square port box... Each CVR is $149 and the custom box is normally $199... so $149 + $149 + $199 = $497 + Tax = $526.82...... he said hed sell meall of it for $299 inc. tax.... they are brand new 2007 models....... question is, is this a pretty good deal??
