well lets see - about $450 a piece for the 15s, thats a total of 1800 - so divide that by $25 and that would be........ 72. so i could run 72 4 inch 100 watt woofers at 55.4 watts rms. that actually sounds about right. hmmm.....that would move 18 cubic air a flex versus the 16cubic-ish area. i just through some numbers together and it would be possible to get all 72 of those in a wall right behind the seat. this is kinda intrigueing.. i may order one or two of those just to see the output in them. interesting. hmm.

no, im done playing. my shop offered a deal - and im taking it. its a 18 month build but so very worth it. ALL TREO and Optidrive!

4 SSX Treo 18's @ 2500rms w/ D2 4 inch voice coils
2 sets of TS Components sets
2x Optidrive 4000D amps (4000 rms at 1 ohm - one per 2 speakers)
1600w 4 channel for mids- Optidrive
7 inch motorized in dash
DVD and 2x 3 channel active crossovers

Thats my deal and Im going for it - How does that sound?

Hilbilly! Think about that for a minute - These are one step below your CSX and there will be 4 of them in a blazer.

The batterys would not be excessive, those opti's are current hungry. Infact, why shortchange yourself. If you are going for SPL, run each sub with its own opti 4000, they can take it for daily. and for burps, god I don't know how much they can take. Put 14000 watts to my old SSX and it didn't care at all.

i thought the six sounded dead on in planning, but even if it would be overkill - i would rather overkill then underpower.
