Default High beam/low beam question

For '96 Blazers and other Blazers with the larger headlights (Not the ones that are rectangular thin shaped lights), the bulbs are ontop of eachother, low beam and high beam. Isn't that 9006(low beam light) on the bottom, and the 9005(high beam) on the top? Or is it the other way around? Because I just pulled out both bulbs, and the 9006 are ontop, and 9005 are on the bottom.

Default RE: High beam/low beam question

The low beams will usually be on top. I don't know why, but most cars with headlights like that will have the low beams on top.

Yeah, regardless, I just changed out my factory low beams with Silverstar Ultras. They look great so far and it's only 2PM. Can't wait for tonight, supposed to snow. I think these are actually brighter than my high beams now.
