I bought 4 Orion HCCA Millenium 6.5s and Gonzo tweeters from Robot Underground. They will be bi-amped with a HCCA 2100 on the mids and a PPI 2100 on the tweeters. As soon as I close on my house and I'm not broke I will be adding a new alternator, 2-3 batteries, and two HCCA 275s running 4 RE 15's.

Yeah well I have had all these amplifiers and other stuff for years so I might as well use them. I've found they sound like crap sitting in my closet.

Update on wind noise....truck is in the body shop after spending 3 nights at the dealership. They had to rebuild the transmission and are just now starting on the wind noise. Will let you guys know how it turns out.

I have never heard of a transmission making that much noise. Did the previous owner get rear-ended or something? I hope you didn't get screwed.

LOL Naw man. It was two completely seperate things! The transmission had been acting kinda weird but the wind noise was just another issue that required body work apparently. The dealership said that they could not tell if it had been wrecked. Tomorrow will be a week they have had it so I hope they are about done or at least know something.

Could be some bad weatherstripping. Glad to hear you have a warranty on it.

The dealer told me one more week til I get the truck back. It will have been there 3 weeks by then. I can't imagine what they are having to do that takes that long. It damn well better be a lot more than weatherstripping.
