Default How did you install your new component speakers/tweeters?

Hey guys, just wondering how everyone installed their front component setup? I would really like mine to look as stock as possible. How did you fit tweeters in the dash openings? Where did you mount your crossovers? Can you use the grilles that come with the speakers in the door without cutting out plastic? These questions keep running through my head, and I'm just trying to get a picture before I put the money down for a set of component speakers.

you dont need the grills that come with the speaker since we already have the grill cover down above the speaker. i use to have my crossovers mounted under the door panel so you couldnt see them. but now you can see i have em down in that little panel holder thingy.

Sorry guys, I forgot to subscribe to the thread, so I didn't get any email notices of replies.

The speakers are Premier PRS-D720, the blazer is a '01 ZR2. headunit is a Premier 600, amp is going to be a Premier D4100

The things I'm most worried about are

1. finding a place to hide the crossover out of sight.
2. getting speaker wire from the door, to the dash for the tweeters.

crossover should fit inside the door......and if not i dont think it matters how far the crossover is from the actual mid/tweeter.....at least according to my pg rsd manual.

The crossovers fit nicely in the door. I had to rewire everything, do you think it's going to be a problem with the passenger speaker wire being close to where the amp power is coming through the firewall?
