Default impedance of factory 4x6's?

I'm going to help a friend install speakers in his 2000 4 door blazer tomorrow or the next day. We're replacing the four door speakers with pioneer 6.5's which are all 4 ohm. Just wondering if any of you guys know the resistance spec of the factory dashboard speakers, which we're going to upgrade at a later time. They're wired in parallel with the front door speakers as I understand so Id like to be able to figure out the circuit resistance before I actually have the car in front of me. Thanks!

i believe when i pulled mine out they where 8 ohm. either 8 or 16. pretty positive they where 8 though. i had tweeters in a 4x6 metal plate though. switch out the dash too! to be honest with you, i cant really hear my door speakers over my dash speakers... at all. they make a huge difference. i hate driving other peoples cars because they dont have anything in the dash and the whole audio scheme sounds horrid.

Probably 8ohm, measure the DC resistance with a multimeter and if its around 8ohm, then the imp is 8ohm.
