My sister was gifted a 2020 Blazer last year and she sold me her 2011 Camaro that has a premium sound system. I'm an audiophile since childhood with training and experience in live and studio sound engineering and production. The stock Camaro system is excellent and far superior to the new Blazer system.

I'm thinking a pair of separate quality tweeters (mounted above shoulder level) may be an easy sonic upgrade.

What is your opinion, and do you have any other suggestions?

She also misses her CD player as she owns quite a CD collection including custom compilations that I have created for her. Her stock system has a screen for the rear camera with no room for a player.

For a quick sound upgrade, I would always recommend a subwoofer. There's several options for small, sealed, all in one powered units that all you have to do is run the wires to. Then you can adjust the bass out of the stock sound system a little bit to let it go a little louder without clipping, and let the new subwoofer take care of those lower frequencies and fill out the sound stage.
