Exclamation Install help

I have just installed a Kenwood KVT-617 DVD unit into a 2000 Blazer. All wires are connected that need to be connected other than the reverse sensor wire,Dimmer Control and steering control on the head unit. And the mute, electric antenna, power control wire and amp control wire on the receiving unit.My problem is that I have the error message "Disconnected cable found. Please confirm a connection line" when all connections have been made. All fuses are still good....Am I missing anything here??

There is only 1 wire that will cause that msg

The cable that goes from the HU to the "brain" or DIN cable. The cable should look like a s-video cable. If that cable is hooked up correctly, then the cable is bad.

That unit requires a "brain" unit, that Kenwood DOES NOT sell separately.

Thanks Loomdog32,

Will take it to a friend of mine at Cartoys tomorrow then and see if they have a new DIN cable or if he can get one from some where....
