UPDATE , new pics. Pics show aluminum frame being flushed into crossover window,to hold acrylic, also the beginning of the enclosure for the 2 6.5" CMX Woofers. Other pic shows top half of door panel wrapped in tweed, w/rainbow logo in it.

I wouldassume he used someform of spray adhesive...

The tweed doesnt really tickle my fancy. That particularshade has a cubicle office chair look to it...For the most part i stick to vinyl, suece, and carpet interior...But thats just my tatses...

it was glued to the front and then wrapped over the back. I think its probably glued on the back side as well. Im going up to the shop tomorrow to check out everything so ill let you know

Im liking the tweed. That enclosure for the 6.5" is TINY!!! You are going to have very poor midbass response guaranteed. Might want to ask the guy to make it as large as possible if you want it to sound better.

that would help a little. IB into the door would probably be best. Most 6.5" woofers are not designed to be installed in an enclosure.

yep yep. Its the exact same if you built an enclosure for a sub too small. It sounds like doody. IT would be a shame to hinder such nice speakers with such a small enclosure.
