This goes with my existing upgrade I've already done to the stock speakers which you can find in my sig. I have two 12's I'm looking at putting in my car because a friend gave them to me but they are in a bandpass box so I'm a little worried about what they will sound like. What do you guys think? Any suggestions for the subs? Assuming I want to keep them I'd need an amp, any suggestions?

 

be careful if u have those subs in that picture cause they can blow very easily :X

 

I don't know much about them and can't seem to find any user reviews on them anywhere on the internet. Do you have experience with them? I'm thinking I may just go put a single ported 12" in but since I already have these I wanted to look into them first.

 

Yea Dual's are low end subs man sorry to be so blunt But yea. If u havent gotten them already. Id run out and get like a rockford P2 in a ported enclosure. Just about the same price but its so much louder and the SQ is great on rockfords.

 

No problem about being blunt, like I said, the subs were given to me so there's no sweat off me as far as that goes, I'm just trying to figure out if I should spend money on an amp or spend money on both an amp and sub.

 

if you have a price range on audio equipment, pm me and I will come up with somedifferent options for you. I am always swapping amps.

 

Nice, i'm gonna be getting that radio within the next month. I can't wait to get my ipod hooked up. Double the power from my stocker, yeah baby.

 

if you want my honest opinion i dont like them there really muddy and are not very loud even amped to there rull amount. my 1 12 in. type r is louder under powered and still is crisp bass not to mention most other subs are also louder the those duals to so

Mass Destruction Sidewinders for budget subs very power efficient currently only running 200 watts to it and it slams. damn switching systems sucks
