just wondering
what do the holes for in the bass box do for your subs, becouse i have 2 10's in one box with no holes i bought it that way, but people are telling me to put holes in the back of the box for air,
the holes in the box are a port they make it louder cuz it makes the air coming out of the box have a freq. but just holes im pretty sure wont do anything, boxs with the holes a specifically built to make a certain freq. so if you would like to drill holes in your box you can but it doesnt do anything special unless it is ported in a certain way

Ported subwoofer enclosure require more than just a hole to breathe. They require precise measurments of volume, length, and area to produce a desirable sound....

well you would be better off just buying a ported box if you want a box with hole
