has anyone heard this sub before? i am thinking about getting it.

From what I know, it's a loud sub but it doesn't have great sound quality.

I got kicker 12" comps and they are great and sound good to

I have not heared the x but as it is made by kicker it has to be good

but buy them online as any ofthe retailstores will overcharge you

just b/c its kicker doesnt mean its good......the Solo-x woofers are not very musical at all....If for some reason you want a square sub get an L5 or L7. But I can tell you theres better out there for the same amount of money

ok thanks...yeah i have 2 12" comps but just want something louder. i was thinking 2 l7 15" but my car isnt big enough thats why i was thinking solo x because it will not take up that much space and is loud

Comps sound okay, I much prefer the CVR's, I've got 2 12's=)
Dual L7's are LOUD! As pointed out before, not very musical, but I really believe a lot of people don't tune the bypass's on their amps correctly either. If your looking to make a heck of a lot of noise, the L7's will meet your needs.

what do you guys suggest then for the price...i like kicker and i dont car what anyone says about it.

Yes but along with the CVT, CVR and CVX, there are also plain old Comps. (cheapest subs from Kicker)

I have a single 15" CVR and while it's not great, it sounds fine for me.

RE Audio, JBL, hell even Type R's will sound better then a solo x....but if ur hell bent on getting kick then i suggest a couple CVRs
