Default little orange bulb next to my steering wheel. what is this?

just got my blazer today and i noticed this tiny bulb that does not light up. what is it? my car does not have a alarm remote. does my car have a deactivated alarm?

how do i activate this? does this mean i have keyless entry? i didnt seem to have the rpo codes for it though

Pull your drivers side kickpanel. Chances are if there is an aftermarket alarm/keyless/remotestart there will be a box under there that ties into the column wiring.

My truck had a bulldog system in it, but didnt come with a remote or anything, so I just tossed it and put in an autopage system.

Depending on what you want to have it may be cheaper to replace it then buy remotes and get it going. Also that bulb might be all thats left of the system, alota people rip it out when they sell.

either there or mine was installed next to my steering column behind those panels

Most likely up under the dash near the steering column.
