LOC?

LOC?
Is there anyone out there using a LOC? Not like a walmart one something along the lines of maybe an audiocontrol one or maybe a rockford 3sixty1 or 2? I like the stock headunit look, and i recently seen there is a harness to hook up an aux source. I plan on a full system, front components (PG RSD6.5) ran active off a powerbass 600.4, The rears will be powerbass 6.5" coaxails ran off a smaller powerbass 75x2 amp. The sub will be a Treo 10" SS10.44 off a kicker 750.1. I'm wondering if I will get decent sound quality out of a LOC or should I just swap in my pioneer headunit. I know most will say go HU but I don't personally like the looks of the single din's in the blazer, Pioneer has a nice lookin din 1.5 that I may go with if you guys think an LOC is a waste of time.

RE: LOC?
well i have used them in some installs. BUT the factory headunit just doesn't have enough setting to get the best sound. switching it out would give you such nicer settings to really fine tune it. if you really like the factory one then use it with the loc. in my own vechile installs i wont use it. so all and all its not worth it if your gonna install that other nice stuff ya know.

RE: LOC?
The 3sixty.2 or the jl cleansweep are great options if you want to keep the stock HU. There are plenty of SQ competitors using very high end gear with LOCs. Sure there are better ways, but there is no issue with using one.

RE: LOC?
Thanks man. I planned on grabbing a 3sixty2 but just wanted to know for sure if it was worth it. For some odd reason i just like how the stock radio looks and I don't want to remove it. I haven't seen a single din headunit that looked good in a blazer to me.
