Default Looking to get a cd deck- opinions?

I've looked a little at some cd decks, definatly want one with the iPod hookup. I looked at some Alpines at Best Buy the other day and thought they seemed kinda flimsy, esp. w/ the flip down face. This Kenwooddeck seems to be pretty good, they didnt have one on display at BB though. And do I need the iPod cord they sell?I thought it looked exactly like the one you hook it up to the computer with.

If you are going to use an iPod, this a great deal on sweet deck. And all the iPod ready Premier units come with the iPod cable...

EDIT: Yes you need the iPod cable that they sell, the plug for the iPod is the same but the opposite end that plugs into the radio is Specific to that brand(i.e. Pioneer, Alpine)

Thanks bobditts but thats out of my price range. Cloak- the reason I asked about the cord is b/c the kenwood just has a regular usb port in the front. So I still need that cord?

If it just has a USB port then you can use the computer cable. But BEWARE, I have installed a lot of USB decks that say they are iPod compatable and end up not working. Its much safer to with with something like a pioneer that has the iPod specific module that works through the IP-Bus system...

If your on a budget, the Premier 490IB is basically the same as the 590 without the fancy display and minus a few EQ features..Still comes iPod ready with the cable included...

One of my buddies has a similar if not the same Alpine one and I played with it last night and thought it seemed pretty decent, so I've narrowed it down to the Kenwood one above or the Alpine, I'm going back over there shortly to talkto them again.
