Default MTX 9500

Alright so awhile ago i bought a MTX 7801 amp cause i got it for a steal basically and i really liked the type r's at the time. So i got two 12's dual 4ohm and blew them got another pair and blew them, i dont know why but i did... anywho so now im thinkin of the MTX 9500 12" now i've only had mtx amps, i have never had one of there subs... now i've been reading a lot of the forums and most people prefer jl's and what not but i thought i would give the 9500 a chance what do you guys think? has anyone heard them in a sealed box?

alot louder (if built right)

Big difference. more dB's.

Like my 6 kicker setup would have been lucky to get 145 everyone was saying. Now ported it could have been 150 or so (maybe)

ok so i should go with a ported box then i but i dont know how to build so i would have to find a place to build one or somebody who knows how. But i used to have a 10" alpine type r with a kenwood 1800 watt amp but i blew the sub and am trying to sell the amp now and that was in a sealed box and it sounded ok.
