well looks like my 2nd sundown 1500D just took a crap, was driving home from the Ladies 140km's away and my subs cut out randomly during a song. pulled over and found a blown 80 amp agu. So I bought a 5 pack of the same kind and blew 2 more as soon as the amp would turn on[:@]
Of course I did check all the connections and grounds before I tried the other 2........Looks like I have to send it back again with the same problem I had last time.

Oh great don't need to give Clay anymore reasons to hate on the "sunclownz". Still planning on installing both of mine within a week or so.

alright, so I checked in with the guys at SSA and they suggest I try an anl fuse.....they figure my agu is "hurting" my amp....which worked fine for 7 months or so, even blasting 20hz tones.
so today im gonna put my mrd-m501 in on an 80 amp agu....if this works I can blame the saz, right?
1 guy there says im asking for a fire and tells me to get 150amp anl and 1/0 wire asap to run 950 rms!? seems rediculous to me.....sure when I drop to 1 ohm I will, but 2 ohms should be very easy for this amp........
1 thing i did notice that where the wire meets the fuse holder theres a tiny piece of exposed wire thats a little dirty......but im sure its prolly been like that for months.....
