i have a 98 chevy blazer. I just purchased a kicker 15 inch sub L7 and a kicker 1000 watt amp. I have no wires and I do not know what types to buy. Please help me.

you need power and ground for the amp (probably 0awg for 1000w), a pair of RCA's (like the red/white/yellow ones on a tv) and a remote wire. check at local audio shops and they should sell an amp kit that will come with everything you need. walmart and pepboys both have a few also...

I bought my wiring kit from KnuKonceptz and I'm very pleased with it. Their amp installation kits contain all the wires you need.

I suggest just buying a complete kit also, but not from walmart. ebay would be prime, or i know of one on www.onlinecarstereo.com for $70 claims its 1/0, but who knows.....still an excellent deal.

to add to otnie's post you'll also need a battery post connector.

also run a search on the "big three" it will help you out.

a good 4 gauge will do fine, but if you are planning on upgrading in the future, get bigger!!
