Ahhhh.....i gotcha. Have you looked at Stetsom or older US Amps? The 1512's would be an amazing set up. You gonna do a build log or update one when you get it all put together?

Stetsom is nice but they are very sensitive with voltage. if you drop at all below 13, they like to shut off. With your setup, the optima may be enough to run it but i've never had good luck with optimas, i manage a battery store and am getting them back all the time with cells going bad after only a year or two.

Those DDs will hammer though if you have a proper box for them and don't clip the signal into them. Blazers can get loud pretty easily compared to a lot of other suvs due to their design. I've had good luck with subs up and port firing into the driver side wall along with subs up, port firing back at the tailgate.

I've achieved a 133 consistent on the termlab with a simple 10, sealed getting about 750 watts. fully sound deadened truck with stock alt and a Juice Box group 34 battery and big 3.

Short and sweet, if you're looking to get loud and sound good, you need to have the box designed around your subs and vehicle along with doing everything you can to reduce the rattles that will occur with that big of a system.

hence my questions. unless the meter is the cheapo rat shack and in the port, no way in hell. my buddy has 2 18s on 5k rms and is only doing a 156 in the port, a 151 on the dash. and thats two SSA Zcons and a Stetsom 5k2e on 300 amp alternator and 4 group 31s.
