I'd do the headunit first cause that will perk up your door speakers some. Then do your amp and subwoofer. Then when your door speakers start to go bad (ha ha) replace them and your good. Then if you want to go all out put a 150-200 watt amp on the door speakers.
Headunit is a personal choice. Depends on what kinda inputs you need, what devices your using with it, what colors you want the display to be, etc etc...

I agree with Screwed and Fabs. We're not here to give you crap but when you use decent grammar its a lot easier for us to read it and understand your problems or questions. Obviously we all mess up when typing and forget something or have a typo but, if you can fix it and keep it easy, please do.
back to the original questions, if you let us know what you're thinking about getting, we will help you figure out whats best for your budget.

well the one person sugested headunit rear speakers with amp and sub. to me that sound like the best way to go. if need be later will upgrade all speakers but looking to spend around under 200 for the headunit i have a amp but need to be fixed (sony 4 channel 650 watt ) not sure on this stuff so dont know if that amp is good to run a sub off of. looking to get a sub any size really just 1 sub with not a huge box. and if im correct the "RMS" is the real rating of power to go afer but lookin at 300+ watts . so thats it in a nut shell as for speakers dont know wats better 3 way 3 way wattage etc .. any help let me know

Ok, well the best option is actually front speakers, sub and amp. You can get a nice monoblock amp, a 10 inch sub and headunit for about 300. Obviously it won't be the greatest stuff in the world but it will be good.
RMS is the real rating to pay attention to on an amplifier. Sure, i could have an amp that has a "5000 WATT MAXXX POWER RATING!!!!" and it only puts out 600 watts but its really dirty... Long story short, if the RMS is high, and you're going for strictly sub bass, go for it.
I right now have, Pioneer 2 way coaxials in my doors ($25), Rockford Fosgate sub amp ($180), JL Audio 12w6v2 ($400), and a 2 year old Pioneer DEH-P590ib HU ($200 installed). So yeah, my system is a little more expensive than what you're looking for but it does what i want.
go to somewhere like crutchfield.com or even Best Buy (best buy being an easier place to warranty products because of no shipping).. long winded i know

Like I said I didn't even notice the grammer thing untill someone pointed it out. I'm used to posts like that on alot of sites and forums so I personally care less, but some people would rather break it down into sentences and paragraphs. They used to get on me abou not breaking down into paragraphs ALOT. So don't take it personal.
That 600 watt would be alright. If you can get it fixed for cheap, you could run the rear speakers on two channels and bridge two channels for the sub if it supports that kinda load. It wouldn't be really loud but would sound pretty good. And if it's not enough you could get a sub amp later.
