SPL is completely instal dependent. you could have 4 15" L7s and hit in the 160's or you could only hit 120. theres no answer to that question. Solo X's are nice, but remember theyre designed strictly for SPL. SQ is out the door

well I absolutely love the alpine type x 12' i just replaced my (4 days old when it blew lol) Power Acoustic 12'with!

BTW---the power acoustic is for sale with a 37.5x14.5x10 ported box that fits between the wheelwells behind the seats perfect 900RMS 1800 peak.[8D]

used to have a 10" type R then it blew and now bought my JL 10" w7

Way to much work involved with it. If you dont do everything right it will fry. I killed mines with only 750 watts to it and its a 1000w sub. STAY AWAY FROM IT.

Thats odd because I installed a 10" p3 in my friends Trans Am and he has it powered by a 1600 watt amp I told him that it will die if he runs it off both channels but it's been over a year now and the thing still pounds. I'm waiting for it to start on fire though just so I can tell him "I told ya so"
