Main things.
Excentuate your trucks strengths. Show them that you can show off their products as best as you can. Mention if you are part of a local car group like for me MD Street Scene. its a big group in maryland and I told mass destruction that i attend there meets all the time. Also! TELL THEM YOU PLAN TO ATTEND ALOT OF SOUND COMPETITIONS! also if you have proof of previous competition wins prove it to them! Send pictures of your vehicle. let them know your future plans for stereo also.
Theres some more stuff that I'll let you know.
If you would like i could give you a EXCELLENT proposal my friend tuned in for his car to give you an example
When I went for mine it was only an offer for a "Street Beater" basically I would use there products thats it. but i get a discount. Well I posted up a real proposal and PROVIDED PICTURES and I got a message from the head of the company offering a sponsorship to me. And of course i took it
Now! Sponsorships arent all they are cracked up to be. They can call u up the night before a competition and TELL YOU to get there. Even if its like a 6 hour drive. to be straight up..... you in the end become the companies bitch Thats just how it is. Gotta make some sacrafices tho

Urethane Bushings
Some about me:
I feel that I could be a big part in a campain for your company. For
many reasons I feel that I myself and my car
are worthy of being a demo car. I've been into cars since I was a young
boy,
since then I've owned 2 cars; both of which have been sponsored. My
previous CRX which I built with my brother
was a show and track car, I had a performance shop that sponsored that
car. Currently the BMW is sponsored by a
company who sells performance and OEM parts.
Currently, my car is still undergoing many modifications. A few of
which will be purchased here in the next few days.
I'd like to hit the interior and audio systems after that. It's a huge
hobby for me; I enjoy it more than anything
and I feel my hard work pays off. Along with that, I'm a huge
enthusiast, any car make or model.
I'm a huge member in online community's as well as a large hangout
locally. On forums I'm a member of over 15 forums.
I'm very active on 10 of them, I have over 5,000 posts on one, and over
2,000 on two others. I am currently a moderator
of a fairly new, but steadily growing local community
(www.mdstreetscene.com). Along with these online communities, I am
also an avid goer of local shows and bigtime shows. For example, the OC
Car shows, Funkmaster Flex as well as many small
local get-to-gethers. On a nearly daily basis I am around 10-15
car-enthusiasts, all of which are avid members on car websites.
As for me, I'm a 17 year old Senior in high school. On the weekdays I'm
a student and on the weekends I detail cars and attend meets.
As stated, my biggest hobby is modifying cars, driving them and
photographing them. After that, would be sports and bodybuilding.
All of my hobbies I'm extremely dedicated to, I won't let you down!
It's safe to say, the amount of publicity that you will gain having my
car as a demo car is far more than average.
Here are a few images of my car. All "K. Felmar Imaging" photo's are
taken by myself at local meets. The Vexel Media photograph is from
a BMW meet in MD with over 75 BMW's and 20 other cars.

Provide a schedule of events that you have attened last year and plan on attending this year. Also find out if any events with be covered by an online or regular magazines. This helps.
The proposal should be more of what you can do for them and less of what you want.
I would also photoshop their company logo on your ride to show where you will place sponsorship stickers.
I'm gonna work with a guy this winter at work who writes proposals to come up with one for my ride. Since it is now getting good enough to get a possible sponsorship.

Some sponsors will be cool and not even make you put decals on.
