a new idea for a screen
I just got a 93 Blazer ( drive a small Civic ) and I have just been going crazy, this thing has some sever room. I ended up buying a Kenwood in dash 7inch screen for the civic and I'm putting in a full blown computer. This is hard to do in something so small.
When I was looking that the blazer I realized it would hold a pc lcd monitor with no problem. You have get a 15inch one for about 130 -150. A pc monitor is a nice then a normal screen. IF you get this box and the monitor then you can easily watch movies on a nice cheap lcd screen.

Also it's would be around $300 to put a computer in there, if you add another 50 for GPS and some software then you will never get lost.

if you have any questions whatso ever on a computer intergration, im your man......first off, 15" is too big, second....you should shoot for something with a touchscreen, so you can easy operate it while you are driving (www.xenarc.com) i had a computer system intergrated into my 04 scion xB (pictures here... members.cardomain.com/deliriousvisions ) so if you have any questions, hit me up. also thos composite to vga adapters are usually junk, it doesn't give you a nice clean signal, and it can easilly pick up interference, espically in a car.
i dont know how much money you are looking to spend....but i think either eclipse or pioneer (i know pioneer makes a double din) makes a din and a half GPS/CD player. ill have to check it out when i get home.
