2 dual 4 ohm subs can be wired to 1ohm or 4 ohms. If you take a look http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp you can see a diagram. Check to see if your amp is 1 ohm stable first. If it's not then you will have to run it at 4.

I have my subs wired up to 2 ohms and I have them bridged to my 975watt peak amplifier with thermal and protect. Is this good and will my protect help prevent me from blowing my subs??

If anything is going to blow it will be the amp. Whats the model number of the amp?

Well your amp is only stable at 4 ohms. So you need to wire your subs differently if you want to run the amp bridged. Wire the subs each is series to 8 ohms, thenn brdige them on the amp. Or wire the subs how you have it now at 2 ohms, and then wire each sub to 1 chan on the amp.

This will allow for it to work. They way you have it won't work probably. The amp will either go into protect, or it may not and will blow.

Well I have thermal too, so wont that prevent my amp from blowing because itll will shut it off if it over heats it says. It doesnt mention any wiring, and i dont have to worry about my subs blowing u sed? and y?

if your amp isnt built to run at 2 ohms, dont. thermal kicks in when the amp gets to a certain temp, thus saving your amp, not your subs.

you have to run each channel at 4 ohms....or bridge the 2 channels to 4 ohms...
