pretty sure or positive. just another thought. tryin to help out. it could say it can but will it really. and are they really at 2 ohms(the subwoofers) how are they wired

Sundown was warranty covering theses amps @ 0.5. Rated at 1500@1.

that amp is rated at 4, 2, 1. they were warrantied to .5 with proper voltage. have been ran at .35.

I'm gonna pick up an 80amp fuse asap

also "mr.sundown." said to put duct tape over the transformers........wont it melt?

going from 60-80 amp fuse makes that much of a difference?

I will also try turning on the amp without the subs connected......

Have you checked your remote wire? There could be a voltage problem there.

Well I tried the above mentiond, with no luck, I got 5 "gold plated" 80 amp fuses.

disconnected the subs, put the fuse in and as soon as I turned on the deck, it blew. did that twice......-2 fuses.

next I took the bottom cover off, tried that......to rule out the transformer issue.......still blew....

So anywho I hooked up the alpine and voila, great sounding bass.
which leads me to belive its the amps fault, not mine.

what kind of voltage drops did you have??

while driving.......it would get just under the 14 volt line...........at idle it would go half way in between last and 2nd last lines.....................but that was really driving it........it says the amp is like 83% effiecient.......has to be higher than my alpine.
