Well, I decided I want to go ahead and install a PS2 in my Blazer so I can play some games and watch movies when im out and about. The 7" Screen is going to be mounted under the dash where the center console tray is. But the Console is going to be mounted in one of the rear glove compartments beside the seat. My issue is the controllers. I'd like to have the controller ports up front in the console so make things a little easier...Running them from the console with the compartment door open seemsa bittacky and I would like it to be a little cleaner than that...
Does anyone know if they make extenders for the PS2 controllers?
EDIT: Do wireless controllers work without line-of-sight?

you have the option of wireless controllers.
Ebay link for extensions
Ebay link for wireless
sounds like fun man!
no, i dont believe you need direct line of site. they operate on a decent frequency, so you should be fine.

Is it a slim ps2? And the controllers should work without a line of sight because most of them use rf.

I installed the PS2 in my buddies S-10 extreme pick up. I ripped out the passenger air bag and put it there. I'm at work right now but when I get home I can post the pics if you would like.

The power inverter we got for it fit in there. And the Big PS2 is the one we put in there. It sticks out and we cut a hole out of the airbag cover for it to pop out. Controls were stored right under it in the glovebox. I'll post pics later. Choice is yours though. I'm not trying to persuade you either way. It'll be a fun project either way.

definately not going to pull my airbag out. Not only is it a major safety no-no but also voids any chance of a legal battle if something malfunctions during a wreck...Also, I'm strong on being able to put everything back to factory...
I'd still like to see pics though, sounds like an interesting install...
