Pulling out radio

Pulling out radio
Installing a aftermarket radio looks to be very easy. All i am wondering is though is how to take it out with the theft lock system? Do i need to take the whole front panel off? I know in some you just lock in those DIM things and pull out but is it different with the theft system lock?

RE: Pulling out radio
I don't know what you mean by theft lock things.
To install first put in the adapter. Make sure the brakets are installed correctly so you radio won't be leaning back. Then install the DIN cage, and press up on the locks (if thats what you mean). To take of the DIN cage from the radio out of the package, use the removal keys, or just lift them with your nails, or paperclip or something. Once you have the DIN cage locked into the adapter, and slide the radio in, you WILL NEED the keys to remove for repair, extensions, or upgrades. However, Wally's World sells keys as well.

RE: Pulling out radio
I probably should have made it more clear. My radio unit (stock one) says its a anti-theft lock system and it doesn't look like i will be able to slide the pins in to pull out the stock radio. If i couldn't would i have to remove my whole front dash to do so?
