im pretty sure i have the tweeter in the dash, but if i replace my speakers, would it be posible to replace them with the 4x6 plate speakers that are available on other blazers?

you can put pretty much any 4x6 up there with a little trimming........I have infinitys 4x6 plate and it worked out great.

yeah not a problem i have MTX 4602's up there and they sound awesome.

but you will run into impedance issues if you wire them up. HU will not like seeing 2 ohms. You will have to wire them at 8 ohms. Cause it will eventually carap out on ya.

What kind of trimming did you have to do? I think there's too much trimming needed for mine to fit, lol, they're kinda tall...

basically, you will have to run wires from speakers in the doors up to the radio, and wires from the 4x6 to the radio. mark them individually. then wire them as follows

ok, ok well I didnt do the trimming, I had a shop put em in.....I seem to like to pay people to do things I dont want to........

no trimming that i can remember on pass side, the drivers side, just a little bit. have to take a corner off in the dash.
