People underestimate the power of a well-designed 8" driver. I hit a 142 with one DD-1508...

shipping sub boxes cost major money man, especially for a dual sub box. You dont have a local shop around you that can build one?

 

I've checked around and they all suck. They tell me 32hz is way too low to tune a box. I tell them to do the big 3, and they changed 1 wire.......they didnt know how to set my digital alpine amp.....ummm

I'd rather have someone build it who really knows what their doing.

 

I would suggest trying to build one yourself. Local ahrdware store will cut wood for you and after that all you need is a screw gun and some glue. Then carpet it and youre done, all for under $75...If you really dont want to do that then I know there are a few guys on ROE that do that as a small business...

I would do it for you but I just recently moved and im at a lack of tools atm...

Yes. Enclosure is definately the biggest factor with any bass system....and Pete at TTB definately knows a thing or two about enclosures. Guy is a box genius...
