they are a one inch tweeter, just the smallest one that I have ever seen, you will have to either cut in a bigger hole to get newones to fit, or just get a sheet of ABS plastic and make your own mount. If you have a torch, you can point the tweeter any way that you want to.

For some reason when I look down through the messhy metal covering of the front speakers it looks like 4x6"s for some reason. They look much to big for a 1inch tweeter. If I go to a best buy, shouldnt they have the exact measurments and every thing for every model?

there 1" tweeters mounted on a 4x6 plate. i removed the whole plate on mine and just put some good 4x6's in place instead of the tweeters...

Do you think thats a good idea? Have 6 speakers instead of 4 speakers and 2 tweeters? Where are you getting your trebble or what ever? Does it sound good after you did that?

i think it sounds way better...it's a 2 way 4x6 so there's still a tweeter on each one but it's also got more mid range. you won't be dissapointed. just find a GOOD 2-way 4x6, i recommend looking at infinity, memphis,or rockford fosgate. Also, i have the 2 4x6's in the dash, 6 1/2's in the doors, 6x9's in the back, and 1" tweeters next to them above each ashtray and i think it sounds dam good...

Whats the difference between 1, 2, 3, and 4 way speakers? I didnt want to do this but my sound system I am putting together is quite a bit so I dont think I will be able to do it. I plan on replacing all 6 speakers, cd reciever, 1 kenwood amp, 2 rockford subs with a ported box. So I was going to bring it to circuit city and let them install it. I checked their rates and they are actually pretty good. I know this may seem silly but will they set it all up right, figure out if they need to wire it as a circuit, parallel and so on so when I go and play it my amp or subs dont blow because they wired it all wrong?
