Default speaker not working

on my 99 envoy, witha factory system,the driver's side door speaker has a wierd sounding bass when it gets cold outside/rains? i have no idea whats wrong.

what kinda noise are you talking about? do you have a leak in ur door that is maybe allowing water to drip down onto the speaker?

it sounds very fuzzy, thats my best description haha but how could i check if it has a leak

my guess is that over the years, the speaker has deteriorated and now the surround isnt connected anymore. I think its time to replace it!

thats what i assumed in the beginning but then why would it only do it when it is cold/raining. like i noticed this yesterday during a big thunderstorm here, and a few hrs after the rain and the temp went up it went away

probably because you DO have a leak and the foam is getting wet. then later on it dries.
