Ya, mine were pointed towards the windshield, and it was either a fuse, or a crossover inline, more than likely it was a crossover.
no reason for a fuse there, i never looked close enough [:-]

I'd rather not have 4x6 tweeters... but I probably won't have much choice until I get the wiring harness and brackets for my deck...

I suppose there's no slack in the speaker line, is there?
I think I'll just get the whole stereo done at once, lol, now I just need to do some ohm calculations... or just totally forget about putting a 4x6 up there and go component...

Seems like my amp is 2 ohm stable, so I'll prolly run with 4x6s in the dash, and 6.5s in the doors... depending on space, or until my 4x6s blow, lol

Alot of people say just 1 pair of comps and no dash speakers will sound better......
I tried both, comp tweets in the dash, sounded good......
then I added the infinity's and I liked the sound alot better then.......fuller, you could say.
But im sure an amp would make the comps sound better as all 4.......

Generally a dedicated amp will make any speakers sound better... Heck, it made the stockers in my old S10 sound decent! lol
