Default speakers in rear hatch?

i want to get more sound out of my truck but i dont feel like getting a big *** box an dtaking up space. i was wondering if anyone has ever cut into the rear hatch. mayb 2 small subs?

If u want bass with little room look at some 6.5" Tang Bands

i kno pioneer makes shallow subwooders that only need about .5 cubic feet two of them may work

Jon, what is it lately with you and those Tang Bands? though he could fit like 10 of them in there and move about 3 cubic feet a pump.

I'm using 2 S-10 Truck boxes in my Blazer. They sound great and I can still throw SOME stuff back there.
