Default Speakers stopped working!!!!

I was told that speaker issues are common with these "newer" Blazers. I just put a Pioneer CD player in my vehicle, and now only the front left speaker works. The front right one worked when the factory deck was in, but the rear ones have not worked since I bought the vehicle.

Anyone ever had this happen? (The deck is good)

Do you have the Bose system. If so I would venture to guess that the factory amplifier is going out since you had issues prior to removing the factory system...Was the new Pioneer professionally installed or done by a friend/yourself?

It's not Bose, just a plain tape deck system. I used the plug-in aftermarket wiring kit, so that I didn't have to cut the factory harness.

I do get a very faint signal to the speaker in question, but it's just light static and broken up faint pieces of the music I'm trying to play.

I'm going to do some tests today to see if I can isolate the problem...but I think I'm going to end up running all new wires...

Id have to say you wired the harness wrong. Double check the wiring and have someone else who knows how to do it check the wiring as well.

if everything is wired up correctly then your speakers could be blown, my driverside door speaker was blown and didnt work, i put a new speaker in it and now it works.
