Default Started aftermarket install, now no sound....

I am attempting to put an aftermarket stereo system in my 99 jimmy 4dr slt with the bose factory stereo. I don't have any sound from my door speakers that I just swapped the bose door speakers for, and I obviously don't have the oem stereo in there right now. Just not getting any sound. I really don't want the bose stuff in there anymore, amp included. How do I install aftermarket head unit and speakers and amp, and get rid of the bose stuff at the same time? I've been doing research and found some stuff about it but I want it all out, or if I have to keep the amp for whatever reason thats fine but just want my own system in there. Any info helps! Thanks

Check out crutchfield, i got my audio stuff from there and my radio turned out great. Make sure to a get a wiring harness that will fit your car stereo.
