Default Sticky Threads not giving same info...

I am looking to change out the speakers in my 92 s10 Blazer. After reading the sticky threads up top here, https://blazerforum.com/forum/audio-video-electronics-8/stereo-wiring-install-parts-11284/ and https://blazerforum.com/forum/audio-video-electronics-8/oem-speaker-sizes-24051/ have conflicting sizes for the rear door speakers...the first says 6 1/2 and the second says 6 3/4...

which of these is correct before I buy the wrong one....

well look at it this way....either measure ur speaker or buy the 6 1/2 bc that will fit in a 6 3/4 opening

6.5" fit perfectly; 6.75" fit, but usually only 2 screw holes line up
