Stobe fog lights
Hey Everyone,
Does anyone here have anyof thestrobe lights you can put in your fog lights or know of anyone that does?
I saw a set of blue ones somewhere and now I can't find them anywhere; the only sets I've been able to find are the police ones and so on... and I don't want any more tickets

RE: Stobe fog lights
i think any color of light is illegal except green. I was ticketed for white under glows in my car, and was pulled over for white turn signals up front. Cop and judge said someone glancing quickly could mistake it for a strobe. I would check with a local agency and ask what they say

That would suck. I was thinking pretty well just for off-road use to avoid any chances of tickets and just for the hell of it so I think I'll be ok. Found a set of lights on ebay now woohoo

Blue are police, red are firefighters, green are hazmat, all are illegal to have on while driving either steady or flashing. Any kind of white are illegal to have flashing while driving.

If you want to disregard the local laws, and potentially danger other drivers just so you can have some flashing lights........
Just put a flasher relay inline with the lights. done.

I would resort to only using them offroad for a long time ago I got a stack of tickets for excess lighting on a vehicle with it being a non emergency type vehicle!!

Haha ya, I'd only be using them off-road and all that good stuff... I can only get 1 more ticket before losing my license thanks to my Honda; and a friend of mine has gotten too many tickets for excess lighting for simple underglow

If you want them to wig wag you can get cheap flash modules on ebay. If you want to go for simple a turn signal relay will work.

Check with your local laws. There might be a listing on your MVA site.
in the majority of states any lighting modification can warrent a repair order.
