well i still have my stock radio with cd player, and every once in a while it says error, wont play the cd, takes about 2-3 minutes to spit it out, while it keeps blinking saying error the whole time. i have to take apart everything to get to the cd player start poking around and make sure the laser isnt stuck then spits it out and works for 3 days and does it again and im not sure if the fan kicks on but everytime i look at it its off, but i've seen it on once. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

im thinking about getting ,me an aftermarket cd player on base now so it wont keep doing this and me tearing everything aprt just to redo it in 3 days

 

I had the exact thing happen to my stock radio.....it's the tray feature....even though there's no tray it's the thing that snags your cd and starts to spin it......unless you want to pull a used one out of a junkyard.....just get an after market one...hang on to your original so if you want to sell it you can pop in the old one....

 

did your speakers go out as well, my rear two all of a sudden stopped working today

 

my cd player has done the same thing but w/ every cd i put in.. i even put in an aftermarket one and it does the same thing.. any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

 

Is this with a CD you burnt? Or a store bought studio copy?

 

update on cd player prob.. bought an aftermarket deck from walmart.. no more prob.. it was doin it on both burnt cds and store bought albums.. thanks for the help

 

re.. deck from walmart.. now i cant hear any sound comin out of it.. rewired it bout 3 times and tried 3 more decks.. none worked i guess they had been set up 2 long.. gone get another deck tomorrow and see if that works

 

If you're buying from Wal-Mart buy a name brand.


Sadly they don't carry Alpine, but I think they carry Pioneer...

re.. bought a sony.. 2 days ago from walmart bc the other one i bought.. sound quit comin out.. now it wont do nuthin.. wont even power up.. any suggestions??
