Default Stock radio needed PLEASE!!!!!

Hey guys and gals I have an elderly friend who owns a 1996 4x4 s-10. He needs a replacement (factory) radio, but he is on a fixed income and can't afford much. I figured with everyone installing aftermarket stuff there's got to be one layin' around somewhere that someone could sell CHEAP. He would prefer a factory CD player like he has but if worse comes to worse he will settle for any functioning factory radio. It will have to be from any s-10/blazer from 1994 (s-10 1995 blazer) to 1997 as they changed the faceplate/ mounting locations for 1998. He's a great guy and just can't afford a replacement from the delco service centers, so If anyone can help please respond here. I am going to install it for free if we can come up with one. Thanks.

Go to any local stereo shop. I'm sure they would just give you a factory one that has been to their shop to get an aftermarket installed.

I went to a car show at a stereo shop and they had a stereo throwing contest. Each contestant got their own stock radios to toss. You'd probablly be doing them a favor. Saves them from pitching it.

Yes he wants a factory unit, I've already offered to give him a decent aftermarket one but he doesn't like the look or all of the "lights and buttons"....lol. If nobody has one I'll eventually find one and thanks very much anyway.
