so i backed out of getting Type-Rs and decided to save up and get something better.

which of these will have better spl out of the group.
going to be in a ported box. subs up ports back.
i listen to all rap.

2 12' SSA Icon (2000 RMS)
2 12' Fi SSD (dont know what they can handle)
2 12' Audioque SD2.5(2000 RMS)

The SSD's are nice (flatwound)

heard em on a sundown 1500. I forgot what he scored but it was mid 140's in a trunk car. subs firing at rear seats down.


Overall I'd go for the ICON's They seem like an incredible driver and the price isnt bad!

I personaly have had 0 experience with the audioque driver but if its like the HDC3 it will sound bad :?

really? i thought audioque was a good driver...

Im not saying its a bad driver.

Alot of people are happy with theres. Its just for some reason everyone has been saying the SQ was far from around with the HDC3 driver.

yea ive heard good things about the ICONS......i would say go with them. no personal experience though unfortunately

What are you going to power them with? I like my BL, 2 should be even better when I put the second in.

i would look into the stereo integrity mag. prob one of the best subwoofers I have ever laid hands on.
