RE: A sweet upgrade
with 2 dual 6ohm subs, you can either wire them for 1.5ohms or 6ohms. Each sub is 300RMS so you need to find an amp that will either pump out a clean 600RMS at 1ohm or at 6ohm. Since 99.9% of amps will not have a rating for 6ohm, a 1ohm stable amp will be much easier and cheaper to find.

RE: A sweet upgrade
well, you dont have to buy it from the manufacturer (both are the same company, likely the same amp internally) i was looking for ebay links for them and you can get the orion for $215...
what is your budget? its difficult to suggest amps without having an approximate price range
on a MONO amp, there is nothing to bridge. one [-] speaker output and one [+] speaker output...

PERFECT!
600rms for $170.... it would be best to wait for some more input from some of the more experienced guys. im not sure on the quality of Directed amps...
a good place to look is www.onlinecarstereo.com on the left column, select MONO AMPS and look through them, you want to look for an amp that puts out 600+ rms @ 1ohm.
