Default RE: Tape player/aux question

I have the RCA's on my Alpine... works great! My laptop died before I got the Blazer, but in the car, if the power adaptor for the lappytop (using an inverter, since I didn't have a 12V adaptor for the laptop, and since I needed to power the external HD anyway...) there was some major buzzing whenever the power cord was hooked up... until I grounded the laptop to the car, lol.

I prefer the RCA/headphone jackmethod over the direct product connection... because sometimes, me and a friend like to watch movies with a portable DVD player... truck sounds much better than the built in speakers, lol.
