Default Thinking of going to 0/1 ga wire... need input

I will be runningthis http://www.planetaudiousa.com/main/497for mykappaspeakers,and this http://www.planetaudiousa.com/main/484 to (2) 10" infinity kappa perfects.....

Right now my '89 blazer is wired with good quality 4 ga from a previous system. Should I keep it and run (2) 8 ga off a dist block to the amps, or swap out for 0/1 ga and run (2) 4 ga to the amps from a dist. block? Thanks all!

Daniel

I would definately go with 1/0 into two 4awg...You wight want to thing of doing your Big 3 as well so you dont run into dimming issues...

I would run 1/0 for sure. Option 1 being the 1/0 with the dist block to both amps. Option 2 which I would do, run 1/0 and keep the 4g there as well. Why not you already own it and have it ran.

run your 1/0ga to a distro block, 4ga to your mono amp and 8ga to your 4ch amp. anything else is overkill and completely unnecessary.

If I had one thing negative to say about them is that the install accessories they supply with thier kits is junk. The Zip Ties, Connectors, Grommets. I really have to use my own to not get frustrated...

I just ordered another 30 of their 1/0 ring terminals, what connectors are you referring to? Never used their other accessoires you mentioned. I've used their RCA's, speaker wire, power wire, fuse holders, and a couple amp kits.
