Default thought i would share my work

Last year my shop did a show build in a 94 Astro van. just a few pics here and a lil disctription of what you see....

Vehicle:
1994 Chevy Astro
4.3L V6 Auto tranny
3 alternators - the stock to run the vehicle, 2 150 amp semi alts for audio
burnt orange candy paint with 7 color flakes
euro tails
22 inch chrome blade rims / Toyo rubber
magnaflow twin straight pipes - headers back

Audio:
4x Kicker 6*9 - two on walls behind each front door
6x kicker 5.25 mids - all along dash
4x 8 inch 1000 watt tweeters - 1 in each door, 2 in ceiling
1000 watt Hifonics Titan amp - for the 6*9s
1500 watt Hifonics Titan amp - for the 5.25s
600 watt Lanzar amp - tweeters
now the big stuff in the back,
4x Power Acoustik 3000.1D amps - ran at 1/2 ohm
8x 15 inch American Bass VFL subs

end result.... plenty of looks and a big trophy!!!!

i cant remember which company made them but i ordered it all from the Wholesale House in Hicksville, OH. Its a dealer only supplier but i will try to find them and get to you. They are so loud its rediculious. The highs are insane. The best part - you can hear all the music at the same time, even with the body almost falling apart.

As for the Astro - large amount of room, the 4.3L is very reliable, and its a cheap platform.

yes even the midbass - its so beautiful, i took forever to figure out all the sound staging to create a concert affect in and out of the vehicle.

1994 Chevy Astro?!?!?!? That is awesome! I used to have a beat up '92 Astro ages ago. Nothing like the one you are rocking there. Mother nature did me a favor and dumped enough snow on us to make the garage I was parked next to collapse on top of it and crush it. Loving the paint job on this one though.
