Default uh o heres number 3... got problem with the subs

i have never had this much trouble with an install before, i dont know whats going on but i finally got everything (well almost everything) working today the only real problem i ran into was the amp wont turn on when my head unit is in CD mode. It works perfectly with the radio though. Could this be something to do with the ignition wire? have i forgetten something? The head unit is a Kenwood KDC-319. I know its old but it still shouldnt give me these problems. should i just try another head unit?

Easy solution, this happens all the time. Sounds like you hooked up your remote turn-on wire for your ampto the Power Antenna wire instead of the Remote wire. Theyre both blue, but one has a white stripe(I forget which one)...

Yep yep. These guys nailed it on the head. you wired your remote turn on to the power antenna. The power antenna wire is only supplied power when your radio is on.
