you can get those really cheap led's from ebay, but i wouldn't suggest it. www.stylinconcepts.com has some, but i wouldn't buy them.

Now what is 800 bucks??? Surely not these lights! If so, it's a rip. I could probably install something that does this for a helluva lot less...
It might be worth the money... if They're indestructable... They're kinda cool, actually...
I wouldn't mind at least the scanner, but... at the same time, gotta hope it'll survive at -50 *C or be good for a round of romping through the mud, lol

Well...last week I read the entire motor vehicle section of the Maryland Annotated Code. Gotta love the Internet! Here are the MD rules regarding lighting your car:
1. No blue or red lights can be visible from the front of the car. Their reasoning: to keep people from impersonating cops. My interpretation: I can have underglow on the sides and back if I want.
2. The license plate lamp must be white. Their reasoning: I'm assuming so that cops can easily get your tag number at night. My interpretation: I'll take my chances. Replacing the bulb takes five minutes anyway.
3. Front turn signals must be a color somewhere between amber and white. Their reasoning: I have no clue. My interpretation: Fine with me, since all my front turn signals will be white anyway.
4. If your vehicle breaks MD rules, but it's registered in another state, it's legal as long as it doesn't violate the rules of the registered state. (So if you're dropping in for a visit, you're fine here if you're fine there!)
