Right now I have these components for my system, which seems alright, but I`d like to upgrade a bit.
* Pioneer DEH-P6800MP HU 50W X 4
* Pioneer TS-A4670R - Dash 4"x6" 3 Way
* Pioneer TS-A1781R - Doors 6 3/4" 4 Way
* Pioneer TS-A6971R - Mid 6" x 9" 3-Way
* Fusion Encounter Dual 12" Bass Pack EN-PK212
But was wondering if it would be much better to get an amp for the doors 6 3/4`s, and Mid 6x9`s, And use the HU just for the dash 4x6`s.
Also the Fusion Encounter Dual 12" Bass Pack EN-PK212 = 2 12`s rated @ 800 watts max, 167 RMS with the supplied 600watt amp.
If I were to replace the 12`s with these http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=4 using the same amp I already have, would the improvement be very much, or I`m I just purchasing the JL Audio name?

EDIT: Apostrophes.

no you wouldnt just be buying the jl name the w6 subs hit very hard in out blazers. but that amp is not going to power them both to full power so they wont sound as good. i have 4 12" w3's in my blazer with 2 4 channel 1200 watt amps. you might want to buy a new amp. as for the door speakers an amp will help power those alot better also. how much are those w6's?

Yup after more reading, looks like I'll need a different amp.
Would this be ok for the subs.

I've bought lots of audio equipment off ebay, but I'm not too sure about those. I bought 2 used (like new) 12w6v2's for like $500 shipped a few years ago. I like JL but there are other inexpensive options for quality products. How are you running 3 pairs of speakers off the deck right now do you know? Do you usually have people in the back very often?

I didn't install it, I have no idea unless 25 watts to dash, then they split the other 25w between the doors and mids, if that's even possible ?
no backseat peeps.

I would disconnect the rear 6x9s and not use them. Have the dash speakers wired to the front outputs of the deck and the doors to the rear. That way you can fade to the rear as sometimes dash speakers can be too harsh. See how you like it that way. For the sub stage you would also want a new box built to whatever subs you get.

that amp should be good enough and you will need a new box. you can buy one off of eBay or you can find the specs for the subs to build your own box. it'll take a lot of measuring though. my suggestion would be just buy a premade box off of eBay.

Can you go into detail a bit more, reasoning for a different company, name brands, & links ect.
I'm not set on JL, I'm open to other suggestions.
