Give the dash a smack?

Or crank the volume?

Sometimes either/or can convince things to work, lol

Something definitely isn't right inside the radio. It doesn't sound like that is a theftlock issue.

Does this truck have the Bose sound system by any chance? If it does, then you have a separate amp for it that may have popped a fuse or is somehow otherwise not getting power.

i dont think its a fuse cuz he said it happend once before and then started working again on its own, always worth checking tho, beyound that you got 3 options the way i see it
1.
just start bootin the s*it outta it till it works.
2.hope and pray that it fixes itself again
3. replace the radio.

Double check to make sure that the wiring harness is plugged in completely...

Ya I think I'm gonna take it to a GM dealer and just have them look at it. The whole thing about it working intermittently kinda weirds me out. And it is just the basic cd player, no bose system or anything like that.

And trust me, I've already had my crack at "persuading" the deck to work again...

***UPDATE***
So I went to go to the dealer that I bought the blazer from and they said "no can do." So I went to Drive in Auto sound (not sure if its a national chain or not, if it isn't, its just a car stereo place) and the looked at it and said the output plug was fried or something, i dunno. He said big bucks to have it fixed so I just got a new head unit. One of the new pioneer premier players...
